We all feel the need to take some time off for rest and respite, and when we do, it is easy for us to fill that time with other tasks that beckon us to complete them.
I can relate to this process all to well. Even though I have a constant angel on my shoulder (so to speak) and I am being constantly reminded to replenish my energy, I am the first to raise my hand and admit that I default to ‘once I’ve finished this’ or ‘I have some time to help you with that’.
My soul drive to help others often nudges me into imbalance…one of my teachings towards mastering my personal growth.
Why am I sharing this with you now?
March 2022 was a month where the Universe decided to step in and show me what complete rest meant. This resulted in no social media posts, coffee group videos, client consults and online course filming. There were no ‘just let me do that…’ scenarios, I was truly placed on pause!
It also was a process of allowing others to help me with tasks I would normally do. I am grateful to my family for their support, and I am grateful for the patience and kindness of my clients and students.
It began with a sudden gastro virus that was determined to move through my system slowly. Full bedrest was required for a whole week and headaches equated to a pause on active reading, typing, and channelling.
The following week my body felt tired yet stronger, so I ventured from the bedroom to the kitchen for the first time in a week…it wasn’t long before another week in bed was prescribed. Dizziness and nausea only presented when I was upright. A visit to my doctor in week three revealed the virus upset my system by lowering my blood pressure too much on standing.
Archangel Michael has always kept my blood pressure on the healthy side of low however this propelled me into a new form of remaining chilled!
As a result, I have understood the importance of completely resting, replenishing, and allowing my body to heal. Feeling the power of permission to surrender and replenish while in recovery is amazing and I now understand the benefits it brings.
I will draw on this process in the future, making time for active, ongoing moments of replenishment before the Universe decides to remind me to do so.
In conclusion, mindful resting without the subclauses of time restraints, feelings of guilt or worry becomes a powerful reset towards wellbeing.
Whether you require or desire replenishment towards enhanced wellbeing, remain completely open to receive without placing resistance in your path. The results may end up surprising you.
