For most of us, it is in our human nature to desire confirmation that we are on the right path, or maybe that we are being supported and that we are not alone in our journey in life.
Not all of us, but most.
For you, this may not be an everyday occurrence, it may only arise at certain times in your life, or in your hour of need, and its different for everyone.
You may seek this out within your family, friendship groups, and/or mentors. It is from their ideas and guidance, that you may be able to make decisions and feel supported when you are beyond your usual comfort zone, or maybe going through a period of feeling a little lost.
We have all been there and it is completely normal.
Going Above and Beyond
However, some people find the support they have around them may be limited and they seek out divine or universal inspiration.
Why? Because they feel that some answers may exist in hidden spaces and a higher perspective may be a wise option to explore and factor into their decision making.
Are you in that group? If so, read on…
What are Signs?
Depending on your question or need at the time, Universal signs can present as warm messages from loved ones passed, through to highlighting the next steps to take as you move forward.
They often appear as patterns or feelings and are synchronistic to what is occurring in your world at the time of their appearances.
How do I know what to look for and what do they mean?
The great thing about Universal signs is that they often repeat until we notice them. They appear to seek us out rather than the other way around.
It is common to see a repetitive sign for days until it is acknowledged (for example, “Hi grandma”) and then that sign may dissipate for a while.
Some examples of the most common repeating Universal signs are found in nature and can appear as-
- Feathers – that often turning up in strange places and are indicators of loved ones saying ‘hi’ They may appear as the same colour or size, wherever you go.
- Rainbows – represent hope.
- Butterflies – new beginnings.
- Birds and animals – comfort from loved ones.
Although the examples above are nature based, you may see the same one turns up on a poster or in a book at a store.
Other Universal signs may appear through –
- Music and song – with a similar message presenting in a few key songs in the lyrics for a favourite song of a loved one passed.
- Repeating numbers – always seeing the same sequence or group of numbers, either on a clock, numberplate, street address or car dashboard for example.
- Words – the sign may not show up as an image, but a word. If it does, that word will feel like it is bolded or highlighted to grab your attention.
- Falling books from shelves – this also is to get you attention- ‘there is something you need to know in here!’
- Conversations – with either friends or strangers, a key message can be relayed at the exact time it is needed.
- Fragrance – a repeating fragrance that you are drawn to often is a sign that you may benefit from what that fragrance can provide (for example, lemongrass – upliftment).
- Feelings and Sensations – confirmation of making the right decision, saying the right thing at the right time or even the presence of a loved one (passed), can appear as goosebumps or a shiver throughout your body. Tingling around the head and neck area is also a common sensation for many.
However, Did You Know…?
Universal signs are supportive and fun to look out for if you can understand them…right?
Did you know that you can intentionally ask for confirmation or a message, and request what sign that message appears in?
Here are some examples –
- ‘I know my grandfather is around me when I see or hear …………’
- ‘I know my angel/guide is close when I see or hear ……………’
- ‘I will know that this decision is the right one if I see a ……… by the end of the day/week/month’
- ‘The information I seek will come to me in exactly when I need it‘
Key Points to Remember
- Universal signs are messages presented as repeating patterns.
- Universal signs are information carriers so remain open to what they have to say.
- Your signs may present themselves in only one form (i.e., music) or a few. They will most likely lean to your natural strengths or interests to get your attention.
- Universal signs often are divinely guided therefore the answers you receive may not be what you want to hear. Remember that the best outcome for you long term resides in the Universal sign.
- If one sign can have a few possible meanings for you, then clarify what message you are seeking to align with that sign and the Universe will adjust to your request. For example, goosebumps mean I can trust that person.
- Universal signs also bring with them divine timing (when it is the best outcome for all) rather than the timing you may be preferring.
- Universal signs are patterns that can support your journey however, it is equally important that you create the path you wish to explore in the knowing that you are never alone.
Have fun building up your own Universal signs language and enjoy exploring your world with added divine guidance.
