Hi everyone, this blog will be short and sweet.
I thought it wise to cover this topic as it has been surfacing for many of my clients, and if it has been on their minds and their experience of late, more often than not, others will be experiencing this too. So, let’s talk about it.
For most people, asking for help or support is often a big step to take. Whether it involves asking for help from your family and friends, work peers, professionals, mentors or sometimes strangers, it requires you not only to become inquisitive, but sometimes open and vulnerable, even for a short period of time.
However, if you are spiritually inclined and, or energetically sensitive, these traits often require specific support and guidance.
Two of the most common questions surfacing over the last few years is ‘I feel spiritually disconnected and abandoned, why?’ and ‘what have I done wrong?’
Let us examine these questions further. Firstly, ‘I feel spiritually disconnected and abandoned’.
For the spiritually aware, and people with an empathic nature (sense the energy or mood of people, a space or environment), connection is important, more specifically the right connection is vital.
Connection can be with people that share a common friendship, understanding, or are on the same wavelength. Some connections are physical, yet the mental, emotional, or spiritual components are lacking. In this case, our spiritual or empathic individual may feel alone inside, disconnected, energetically drained, unseen or even unloved.
The right connection entails feeling supported, held, loved, understood. This combination provides a sense of safety and peace for these individuals. People may be able to offer this to them, however the constant source of the flow they seek is found by reconnecting themselves back to Source or the Divine (in whatever capacity that is for them).
Therefore, when we explore the ‘why?’ part of the question, it is important to look at-
- Energy levels. If they are running low, explore what, or who is draining them, and rectify this. If energy levels are raised, improvement in mental, emotional, and physical wellbeing occurs. (I have a blog that helps you manage your energy levels in further detail if this resonates with you. (Click here to read).
- Boundaries. Placing personal boundaries around your physical, mental, and emotional wellbeing is important at times in your life, unless those boundaries have overtime become walls that keep everyone out. It is important to reassess this area of your life regularly.
- Frequency. It is our frequency that connects us to Source or the divine. It is normal that it regularly fluctuates as life impacts us, however if our energy levels are maintained, we are able to mindfully raise our frequency at will through prayer or meditation.
Finally, ‘What have I done wrong?’ Often this question can be answered and rectified by the ‘why’ answers. There is no fault or blame. Spiritual Connection has always been there for you, is a given, it has never been taken from you even if it sometimes feels like it. That feeling often occurs when our focus and priorities shift as life happens to us, and that is normal. Once we redirect our focus, time, and energy back to rebalancing ourselves, reconnection results.
If you have been experiencing this process lately, rest assured you are not alone, and it is easy to rectify.
Breathe, take your time, and give yourself permission to change course at a pace that honours you.
As everyone’s spiritual awakening journeys are unique to them and their lives, you may experience further growth phases that you desire more understanding on.
